We build flint walls in the old fashioned way. Solid walls with lime mortar topped out with either bricks, plinths and copes or whatever our customers require. We prefer to use lime mortar as the walls stay "alive" whereas using cement the wall is "dead". Old flint walls have to be repaired with lime mortar as otherwise, using cement, it dries out the lime and eventually after a few years the repaired with cement section falls out.
